The Basement’s Supported Artists' Programme provides a 2-year intensive, structured programme of support and professional development for 8 emergent artists or companies practicing in experimental theatre and performance. The programme provides artists of exceptional potential with a producer, office and development, space, technical and administrative support and mentoring in professional career skills. Supported Artists develop creative and professional skills necessary to establish sustainable careers as artists.

In 2010 - 11 The Basement will take on 8 new artists or companies. We are currently selecting 4 to begin working with the organisation in September and will be seeking a further 4 to begin in January 2011.
