Supported Artists Programme

The Basement’s Supported Artists take part in a 2-year structured programme of support and professional development. The programme provides artists of exceptional potential with a dedicated producer, office and rehearsal space, technical and administrative support alongside mentoring in professional development. The ambition of the programme is to enable those on board to develop successful and sustainable artistic careers.

Residencies

In order to offer a flexible range of opportunities for artists developing new work and to compliment the Supported Artist Programme each season The Basement invites a number of companies to take part in a project-based residency. This offer comprises of free rehearsal space, free use of the office space as well as mentoring from the creative producer, development manager and artistic director.
